A side of ease, please! - Balsamic Asparagus






I love asparagus! Unfortunately, my boyfriend doesn't share my enthusiasm for it. However, he does enjoy it like this. Remember to trim the spears well, not one like finding tough ends.
1 package asparagus spears, ends trimmed
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil (any kind will do, i love to use garlic infused, but whatever you have on hand is great)
salt and pepper

Toss everything into a large ziplock bag. Squish around, making sure asparagus is well coated. marinate in fridge for up to an hour (or use right away).

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Dump out bag onto a cookiesheet - making sure each spear has a bit of room. 

Bake for about 10 mins, tossing halfway to make sure they are still well coated.

Do not overcook.

These are an awesome side dish for pretty much anything, I like them served with Lemon Pepper Pork or my Slightly Spicy Salmon.
