Quick! Start the BBQ! - Pineapple Porkchops

I ask you, is there anything better than BBQ'd pineapple?
No, no there isn't.
So, to that end, I try to pair everything with BBQ'd pineapple.
This dinner idea is totally easy and wonderfully quick - perfect for the days when the sun can;t decide if it wants to shine or not. So in-between splashes of sunshine, you can add a little Hawaii to your day.



4 boneless porkchops
4 teaspoons soy sauce
1/4 cup favourite BBQ sauce (I like something with a little spice in it)
4 1inch thick slices of pineapple (fresh is best - canned will work too)

Preheat BBQ to high.
Mix soy sauce and BBQ sauce together.
Grill chops 1 min on each side (sear in the flavour).
Reduce heat to medium, baste chops in sauce, grill for 4 mins. Turn over, baste again, add pineapple slices to BBQ and grill for another 4 mins or until chops are done and pineapple is heated through.
Serve with pineapple on top of chops.
